Ancient Wisdom: Living in Harmony & Balance
The practice and theory of Chinese Medicine dates back over 3,000 years ago. Living close to nature, the ancient Chinese had a very deep and profound understanding of the laws governing nature. These laws are the re-occurring patterns within nature often called "Tao" or "The Way of Nature." (ie. . . Spring follows Winter, night follows day. . . ) This ancient culture understood that living in harmony with the flow of nature, one maintained health & well being. The universal laws or principles of nature taught within Chinese Medicine still apply to our lives today.

Modern science has discovered that the human body/mind system functions on bioelectric and chemical energy. This concept has been the cornerstone of Chinese Medicine for several thousand years. Bio-electric and chemical energy or "chi" circulates throughout the body along gaps and spaces between your muscles and bones and are called meridians. There are points along these meridians where the cell structure is vertical and not horizontal.  These are "acupuncture points."   Stimulating these vertical cells activate circulation of negatively charged acids which affect the functioning of specific internal organs, body structures, and functional systems.

If chemical supply and circulation is deficient or blocked, the body's functioning is adversely affected and usually results in pain or illness.

Acupuncture points are treated to rebalance the circulation of energy, and the functioning of the internal organs, which positively influences the health of the entire being.

In my clinic, I utilize several forms of acupuncture including: Balance Method, Traditional Chinese, Japanese & Five Element acupuncture with Chinese Herbs, Medical Qigong and lifestyle counseling to help my clients achieve better health and greater vitality.
